NFEH Announces 12th Environment Excellence Award 2015
for 56 Companies On Best Performance

Karachi:National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH) announced results of 12th Annual Environment Excellence Awards (AEEA 2015) for best performance of 2014-15. This was announced by President NFEH M. Naeem Qureshi after final meeting of jury held at a local hotel.
He said the award has been instituted to recognize and promote the organizations which make an outstanding contribution to sustainable development and economic growth of the country. These companies are working tremendously for achieving economic and social development without harming the environment and natural resources.
In this year, more than 186 companies and organization has submitted their nominations. According to decision of 3-member jury has finalized the name of following 56 companies for 12th AEEA-2015, he added.

The jury comprises of environment experts including Shamsul Haq Memon, Consultant Sindh Coastal Authority and CEO Environment Management Consultant Nadeem Arif.
A grand award ceremony & conference on “Urbanization and Environment” will be held at local hotel on August 27, 2015. On the occasion Provincial ministers, secretary environment and representative of United Nations will also participate in the event.
Fauji Fertilizer Cement (FFC), Bestway Cement, Adamjee Insurance, Parco, OGDCL are the major sponsors of the event. NFEH has been organizing AEEA since 2004 with support of Ministry of Environment and other international environmental protection organizations and NGOs.
